1. Who We Are
Cart to Client (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a product planning tool built for professional organizers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use carttoclient.com and app.carttoclient.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at carttoclient@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you invite team members, we also store their names and email addresses.
Business and client data. You may enter information about your projects, products, budgets, purchases, inventory, receipts, and clients — including names, contact details, invoices, and photos you upload. This content belongs to you and is processed only to provide the service.
Billing information. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive a record of your subscription status but never store your full card details on our servers.
Usage data. We collect basic technical information such as browser type, device, pages visited, and general usage patterns to keep the service running and improve it.
Contact form. If you contact us through the site or by email, we receive the information you choose to send us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: provide, operate, and maintain the service; manage your account and subscription; send service-related communications such as account notices, invoice reminders, and product approval emails; provide support; improve the product; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your client data to advertise to anyone.
4. Client and End-User Data
As a subscriber, you may invite clients and team members to view project plans, approve products, or access on-site links. Those users' information is collected on your behalf, and you act as the controller of that data. We process it only as needed to deliver the service at your direction.
If you are a client of a professional organizer who uses Cart to Client and have questions or wish to exercise your rights over your data, please contact the organizer first. You may also reach us at carttoclient@gmail.com and we will route your request appropriately.
5. How We Store and Protect Data
Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular backups. Only authorized personnel can access production data, and only when needed to operate or support the service.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate measures designed to protect your information.
6. Data Sharing
We share information only with the categories of providers listed below, and only as needed to run the service:
• Hosting and database providers — to store application data securely.
• Payment processors — to manage subscriptions and billing.
• Email delivery providers — to send transactional emails such as approval requests and account notices.
• Third-party integrations you connect yourself (for example, product sourcing integrations) — only when you enable them.
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your account and business data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for a limited window so you can reactivate, after which it is deleted from active systems (with residual backups expiring on their normal cycle).
You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing carttoclient@gmail.com.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email carttoclient@gmail.com. We respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.
10. Children's Privacy
Cart to Client is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the app before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date below always reflects the current version.
